This research aimed to understand the theme of Professional and Technological Education in pedagogical projects of courses of Pedagogy of Brazilian public institutions considered high- quality formation programs by the National Student Performance Exam (Enade) of year 2017. In order to achieve the proposal, we analyzed 14 pedagogical projects with regard to subjects of Professional and Technological Education. The methodology used was the descriptive and documental research; we adopted the perspective of content analysis to understand the obtained data (we identified and used the following categories of analysis: curriculum structure and course description; extension projects; scientific research projects; interdisciplinarity; internships; student profile). As results we found: two pedagogical projects with subjects of Professional and Technological Education in evidence; in the other pedagogical projects, Professional and Technological Education appears inexpressively or does not appear. We conclude that there is a need for discussions about the initial formation of the pedagogue in order to rethink its structure and capacity to provide students with adequate/high-quality formation, especially with what concerns to  the Professional and Technological Education.
