SUMMARY:

This master's research aims to analyze the autobiographical narratives, published in the book "Life narratives of outsourced Cefet-Mg workers". This book is the result of the first year of the Extension Program “Writing yourself as an instrument of visibility for outsourced workers at Cefet-MG”, and has thirty-four autobiographical narratives by outsourced workers from the Nova Suissa campus of Cefet-MG. The project that gave rise to the analyzed book is centered on critical literacy practices, through life narratives, with workers and outsourced workers who work in cleaning and general services at CEFET-MG. When faced with the autobiographical textual production of these workers, it was possible to highlight issues related to race, gender, and class, which are present in the fabric of their texts. This situation, combined with my own institutional experience as an administrative technician at Cefet for 16 years, motivated me to undertake this research. The analyzes were carried out in the light of theorists of Education, Work, Sociology and Science of black women and took place through the following relational factors, which anchor the theoretical framework of this dissertation: social context, school trajectory and work trajectory. First, a board was built with personal information to present the students. After that, excerpts related to the present, past and future social context of these subjects were analyzed. In sequence, the passages in which the students mention their educational experiences were analyzed, followed by the analysis of the narratives referring to the work path. Finally, excerpts that mention the Escrita de Si program were highlighted, relating them to the possibilities of reinscribing existence in a new life project. It was possible to verify social markers that permeate their identity constructions and, somehow, are important conditioning factors of their life paths. Education is present as a denied social right. Work becomes central in the lives of these subjects as a means of survival. The path taken by the narrators is crossed by various structural oppressions that often made it impossible to enter and remain in school. The insertion of these subjects in non-formal education practices becomes an important way of enabling the questioning of the world and the circumstances that surround it so that it can understand it and contribute to transforming it.
