Two billion users access YouTube every month in search of content that satisfy their economic, political and social interests, consuming more than one billion hours of its audiovisual collection daily. In Brazil, 150 million people connect to the socio-digital platform with the aim, among other interests, of improving skills or learning new things. The desire for assertive information engages users in productions organized in playlists of established channels on YouTube. In order to reveal circulations of knowledge and values, we mapped a civil engineering channel hosted on this platform. For such, we critically analyse, from an ergological perspective, the practices of producing and sharing civil engineering content on the “Engenheiro Ajuda!” channel. In the past, the circulation of civil engineering knowledge and values was restricted to organized groups – academics, sector professionals and class associations. Currently, accessing YouTube and searching civil engineering channels in search of tutorials are within reach. This research is part of research line I – Fundamentals of Technique, Technology and Work in the context of Technological Education. Seeking to give visibility to the dissemination of knowledge in the socio-digital territory, we prepared an atlas of ergological inspiration for the “EA!” channel. To make it, we selected concepts from the ergological démarche, understood as “ergological clues”, which were used as analytical categories, allowing the location and mapping of the lines of forces that support and convey audiovisual products, dissemination of knowledge and values of civil engineering on Youtube. The cartography of the lines of forces showed both the norms – regulatory, prescribing and modulating – that affect human interactions and productions, as well as the renormalizations undertaken by the interactors that build, diversify and amplify the assets gathered in the digital files of the aforementioned channel. Therefore, the circulation of civil engineering knowledge and values on YouTube involves human and corporate actors, generating heritages that serve the life projects of their community.
