Vocational Education. Interdiscursivity. Military Police of Minas Gerais.
The Ethos formation of ostensive police: a study under the vision of linguistics science, it explores the doctrinal framework of operational conducts, perpetrated by Minas Gerais militar police and used at the police training center (PTC) and in the formation processes of military officers' professional education. The research goal is to identify the officers' verbalization, the first level of diferentiated use of force (DUF), that permeates all gradation of force used by the police as element of persuasive interdiscurse from the officer. The concept of applied interspeech is used in the analysis of Patrick Chareaudeau and of Dominik Maingueneau' speeches, authors of Speech analysis French school. According to quotations from these authors, the different speeches presence, in the different moments of history, and at the different social places, mingle in the interior of a discursive formation of the ostensive officers in MG. For this reason, it was opted to develop a documental research, in which the corpus material comprises the guidelines and the techno-professional manuals forming, through this manner, the union of guidelines applied in ostensive police operations. The results of the research, according to the speech analysis, shows the presence of police verbalization as an interdiscursive element and linguistic mark in the documental corpus, mainly in the techno- professional manuals, with 87% of the accountings. The production of the guidelines framework occured between 2009 and 2022 highlighting the concept of military police education as a continuous process, in which the essence is specific and professionalizing, and developed through teaching research and extensions.
