A MULHER E O IMPEACHMENT: a construção discursiva da identidade feminina no discurso de Dilma Rousseff
Discourse; Semiolinguistic; female identity; impeachment; Dilma
Rousseff.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the former president Dilma
Rousseff’s female identity discoursive construction at the speeches she
gave during the period in which she was provisionally removed from office
due to the impeachment process. To that end, as a methodological
contribution will be used the Patrick Charaudeau’s Semiolinguistic,
especially the concepts involving political discourse and ethos. In
addition, the notion of Silence (ORLANDI, 1995) will be used. In this way,
it is intended to observe if a specific ethos was constructed for the woman
in a leadership situation in a moment of political fragility, as well as to
analyze the presence or not of the evocation of the feminine in the
mediatic scene in which the discourses of the former presidente happened.
