YOUTUBE AND EDUCATION IN PANDEMIC CONTEXT: The multimodal language in Portuguese Language's video classes

This research project aims to propose an analysis of the role of Digital Technologies in the teaching of Portuguese Language, considering the video class as a recurrent phenomenon in the YouTube digital ecosystem, in view of the new relationships created between students and teachers, through channels of videos on the internet.
Due to the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, this phenomenon has intensified, opening new opportunities to analyze about the video published on the internet with educational purposes. The proposal is to approach the scenario of the constitutions of these digital materialities for the teaching of Portuguese Language, through the perspectives of multimodality and discursive genres, based on the Grammar of Visual Design.
From this research, it is expected to evidence about these video classes in a current context, considering the grammatical elements to elucidate the choices of these educational compositions in the format of moving images through the sociosemiotic language.
