HOW READING CIRCLES CONTRIBUTE TO THE FORMATION OF LITERARY READERS
Reading circles; literary reading; reader formation
This research has as its theme the contribution of reading circles to the formation of literary readers. Based on the monitoring of a reading circle, conducted as an extracurricular activity in a school located in the city of Belo Horizonte (MG), the goal is to observe how this activity, whether in a face-to-face or online format, can serve as a subterfuge to promote and encourage literary reading in the school environment, having as its target audience high school students. As unfoldings of this initiative, the counterpoint between face-to-face and remote (online) meeting formats and the interaction dynamics and debates inherent to both formats will also be objects of study of this research.
