SUMMARY:

This project aims to investigate, through ecocriticism, the relationship between humans and nature in the literary work of Oswaldo França Júnior. To this end, it focuses specifically on the micro stories in As laranjas iguais, with an emphasis on the natural elements that are essential to the development of the narratives. Reflections from different fields of knowledge contribute to this investigation: ecocriticism, environmentalism, anthropology, literature, indigenous culture and others. These fields include thinkers such as Greg Garrard, James Lovelock, Bruno Latour, Maria Esther Maciel and Ailton Krenak.
