SUMMARY:

Pornography, as both a business and cultural expression, circulates through various media platforms, constituting an atopic discourse that operates within a privileged space for the analysis of language practices that challenge the limits of what can be said - especially within the context of the virtualization of sexual experience. Within this framework, the present dissertation offers a reflection on the discursive operations of new audiovisual pornographic productions, mainly the niches distinguished by the centrality of verbal discourse in the process of sexual arousal. Grounded in French Discourse Analysis, particularly in the works of Maingueneau (2010), Charaudeau (2010, 2012), and Paveau (2022), the study examines a corpus of videos hosted on the Pornhub platform, focusing on meaning effects and pathemic strategies employed to sexually interpellate a predominantly male audience. In light of the growing segmentation and personalization of online pornographic content, the research highlights the emergence of a relationship between enunciator and co-enunciator aimed at sexual satisfaction, in which verbal discourse takes center stage.
