RESUMO:

The present study proposes to elaborate ergological analyzes about the work activity of traffic agents in the Municipality of Betim - MG. We recognize that, although it is an important professional category for the guarantee of the essential public service on urban mobility, there are still scarce studies that study the aspects that compose, determine and constrain this work activity, the normative aspects that weigh on the performance of these professionals, as well as the understanding of these agents about the activity itself. Ergology was chosen as a theoretical support for the investigation and analysis of this activity because it is an approach that seeks to better know and intervene on work situations prioritizing, as much as possible, the point of view of those who exercise it and allows to go in depth the most invisible aspects of the activity. This resear project i salso guided by ensuing research question: What are the dimensions that make up the normative aspects antecedent to work in urban mobility and how do the normalization necessary for the development of this activity by these workers occur? The search for answers to this problem will be guided by a qualitative study, which will use the method of interviews in self - confrontation and cross - confrontation as an instrument of data collection, taking as a context the Betim Transbetim Municipal Transit and Transit Company. As results, it is hoped to be able to reach the most invisible aspects of the activity of these agents, as well as to identify how the antecedent normative universe weighs on the activity influencing the work of the workers and their own understandings on these questions.
