The Innovation in the Electro-Electronic Sector: a study on home automation organizations

The main objective of this study is to analyze how the key decision-making processes of innovation management work in Brazilian companies in the Domotics sector. To reach the goal, the theoretical discussion was based on innovation, decision-making processes and the electronics sector in Brazil, mapping concepts, types, procedures and main aspects, as well as the management of these themes. It was observed that innovations lead organizations to greater competitiveness, long-term wealth and economic development. The methodological course was designed around a predominantly qualitative, exploratory objective research, through the analysis of secondary data from the Innovation Research (PINTEC) and multiple case studies. The analysis of secondary data surveys will aim to obtain a scenario of innovation in Brazil for the sector, according to the data provided by PINTEC 2014. The multiple case studies will have as purpose to deepen in the analysis of the decision processes in the innovation that occur in organizations of the Domotics sector in Brazil.
