SUMMARY:

Brazilian agribusiness is responsible for moving a large part of the country's economy. In this scenario, the role of agricultural cooperatives stands out, with them being responsible for 17.8% of the GDP of agribusiness in Minas Gerais in 2020. Agricultural cooperatives are organizations formed by rural producers and their purpose is to organize the production of their members on a larger scale, ensuring a better price in the market. The complex operation of cooperatives makes them need instruments to support managing their activities in order to guarantee the quality of the services provided and with due economic and social consequences for their members. In the area of business knowledge, the Organizational Performance Assessment dimension provides inputs for the management activity to be carried out. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the relation between performance indicators and the size of agricultural cooperatives, in order to identify the most relevant indicators that are the guiding principles for the decision-making processes. For this purpose, factor analysis will be used to construe the structure of correlations between a large number of variables, defining a set of common latent dimensions, which are those of factors. And the cluster analysis to identify the influence of these factors on cooperative grouping separated by their size.
