Teaching; Distance learning; Ergology; Technology
This qualitative study aims to analyze the dramatic uses of the “self-body” in distance learning teachers while performing their work. For this research, we use ergology as the theoretical and methodological background related to the fields of education and of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), especially educational technologies and virtual environments. Based on semi-structured interviews carried out with three teachers from a religious private institution on virtual communication platforms, this investigation allows the reflection on the peculiarities of teaching in the distance learning modality, experiencing norms that summon new knowledge beyond what is required in the face-to-face classroom.
