SUMMARY:

In a scenario of political, social, economic, scientific and technological changes, knowing how to make competent use of information, to build knowledge, with greater agility and effectiveness, is fundamental for contemporary society to achieve the degree of development demanded in meeting its informational needs. And with Professional and Technological Education (EPT) this would be no different. It has been required of this level of education that it remodels its objectives, curricula and pedagogical projects to offer students increasingly and more up-to-date possibilities to become critical, autonomous and constantly improving citizens in the face of what the world of work asks them to do. Taking into account the configuration that this context presents, this project chooses as a theme the collaborative work between teachers and librarians and student informationliteracy. The choice for them is based on the perception of a gap in the work relationship between teachers and librarians, regarding collaboration, within a school of the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education, and which may be negatively impacting this process of preparing students for the effective use of information. Thus, this project has as its general objective to implement an intervention proposal to foster joint work between teachers and librarians, with a view to favoring the informational literacy of students of a medium level technical course offered at the institution. The hypothesis is whether student informational literacy could be favored. The proposal includes the implementation of a Virtual Collaborative Work Platform (PTCV) on the institution's intranet to be accessed by teachers and librarians in order to provide for both educators to work together, with greater agility and accessibility, enabling them to develop activities that may favor students regarding the competent use of information. As for the approach this project is configured as a quali-quantitative research and, as for its nature, it is applied. For its objectives, it is descriptive and exploratory, having as research universe an Educational Institution that integrates the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education (RFEPCT) whose campus is located in the city of Divinópolis - MG and as subjects researched the teachers and students of the integrated technical course of Fashion Production, and librarians, pedagogues and managers of said Institution. As for the procedures it is action research and case study. For data collection, questionnaires with open, mixed and closed questions will be used. For the analysis of statistical data, Iramuteq software will be used, and for content, Laurence Bardin's notes will be reference.
