Work Safety and the Construction of the Training Manual: risk analysis of the mechatronics laboratory at the Divinópolis unit
work safety, risks, mechatronics laboratory
The topic Safety at Work is already widespread among business, mainly because of labor and social security legislation. In the school environment, it is necessary to expand a greater insertion of this subject, as it is a place where equipment equivalent to those existing in industries are present, which can generate accidents with serious consequences for both students and teachers or other users. In the Technical Mechatronics course, and in several other courses, there is no discipline specifically focused on Work Safety, but this topic can and should be addressed in the disciplines that use the mechanics laboratory or before any practical class. This work aims to carry out a survey to identify how the students' Work Safety instructions are carried out and in which subjects. From this survey, a visit will be carried out at the Mechanical Laboratory to make a comparison if the instructions are based on the Environmental Risks existing in the laboratories. A survey and assessment of the existing risks will also be carried out, so that the product can be developed with a focus on equipment that offers the greatest risk of accidents.
