THE POSSIBILITIES FOR PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION AND TECHNOLOGICAL TRAINING IN THE WORLD OF PUBLIC WORK

The present work aims to identify and analyze the possibilities for professional and technological training in the world of public work. Its general objective is to analyze continuing education policies in a non-formal education space in order to implement a qualification program for the public servant of the Belo Horizonte Integrated Operations Center (COP-BH), through training workshops. The theoretical construction developed addresses public administration by analyzing the management models of public administration in Brazil, Brazilian public management and the professional training of civil servants. In addition, the topic of Management by competences within the scope of smart cities and the possibilities of professional training in the context of Vocational and Technological Education. The research has a hypothetical-deductive methodological path. As for the means, the research was bibliographic and documentary. The proposed Educational Product is a training program for COP-BH servers, developed in modules based on the design thinking approach. The product was satisfactorily evaluated by the center's managers.
