SUMMARY:

In our trajectory as a Portuguese Language teacher interested in the formation of critical readers of literary texts and in the expansion of access to literary reading, we realized that the dialogue with the media and the use of digital resources, besides being a desire of the official discourses, is also, in fact, a way to bring young people closer to the universe of literature. Despite this, we have confirmed, in line with what many authors have stated, in the work with literature reading that we have access to through the interlocution with other professional colleagues in various contexts, the permanence of certain school cultures unfavorable to the approach between dealing with the literary text in the final years of Brazilian high school and the insertion of digital information and communication technologies (ICT). From this perception emerged, therefore, our interest in developing an investigation that will resort to a field research with the central objective of identifying what is the place assigned to ICT by Portuguese Language teachers during the work with literary reading performed in courses of integrated modality of vocational secondary education (EPTNM) to, from these data, implement a webinar on the use of ICT in the training of literature reader in this context.
