SUMMARY:

This research analyzed the performance of students in a preparatory course for access to Federal Education Institutions in the city of Belo Horizonte, verifying pass/fail rates; the historicity of this preparatory course; as well as carrying out a feasibility study for the implementation of a preparatory course in the distance education modality. As a guideline for this proposal, we work on the concept of strengthening the role of the EPT in national development and in Social Inclusion Policies, since the strengthening of the public character of the EPT requires articulation with national and regional development policies. Research and diagnoses are crucial to point out social demands that will initate the adoption of effective public policies. The educational principle and human formation becomes the basis of this work, which has as its general objective, to present a feasibility study for the implementation of a preparatory course in the EaD modality, for the selective processes of Technical Vocational Education of Middle Level in an integrated way, in institutions of Vocational and Technological Education, for elementary school students from public schools in Belo Horizonte. For data collection, in this work, bibliographic and documental research were used, in addition to the application of a questionnaire directed to some sectors of the institution that, after gathered, were analyzed giving basis to the research. As the results of the analysis, it was possible to build an Educational Product, aimed at the teaching and learning process, capable of helping the process of access to Federal Education Institutions, in order to emphasize the democratization of the EPT offer, and the adoption of differentiated policies in the guaranteeing access to education.
