SUMMARY:

The relationship between Educational Institutions and society is increasingly becoming fundamental in the educational environment and with regard to the world of work, especially when it comes to training people qualified to exercise professions and act as authentic citizens. Institutions that obtain feedback from graduates, enable reflections for advances and transformations in education, seeking to meet the real demands of society in general within a socioeconomic-political context. The present study on Professional and Technological Education has as its theme the Contributions to Citizenship Training: Graduates of the Integrated Technical Course in Computing at IFMG – Formiga. The research is justified by the notorious relevance of the theme and because it is important information for future consultations and data processing, analyzing to what extent the trajectory of students in this course influenced their future paths towards citizenship education. It will be a research with a qualitative and quantitative approach, of an applied nature. In relation to the objectives, it will be exploratory, explanatory/descriptive, having as research universe, the IFMG – Formiga and the graduates of the integrated technical course in informatics as research subjects. As for the procedures, it will be a mixture of bibliographical research, fieldwork and case study. Data collection, in addition to bibliographical/electronic research and documentary research through documents and a self-administered questionnaire already existing at the institution, will also be carried out through interviews with graduates of the course, based on semi-structured closed and open questions. and free, with interaction between the interviewee and the interviewer. For analysis of the quantitative data, software such as Excel and Voyant-tools will be used for the statistical study and for the qualitative data, the content analysis method will be used.
