SUMMARY:

It is the duty of all professionals to comply with the laws that guarantee the rights of people with disabilities. The objective of this research is to guarantee the right to accessibility for people with physical disabilities using a wheelchDair, based on the Brazilian Inclusion Law (LBI); known as the Statute of Persons with disabilities, decrees and technical standards published by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT). For this, it will be necessary to use the principle of reasonable adaptations to adapt the spaces of the “Prof. Antônio José Nogueira Gontijo”, located on the Campus Divinópolis of the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFETMG), which involves preparing the environment for the dissemination of knowledge, making it a pleasant environment that meets current standards of accessibility, the concepts of Universal Design and the accessible route. Allowing people with disabilities.
