SUMMARY:

The research project presented proposes to evaluate the impacts of monitoring in technical courses integrated into high school at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais - Campus Formiga. It is necessary to know what Education is and how it arises, the influences, barriers, transformations and events over time. In addition, where and how does the monitoring method arise, Education in Brazil, EPT its creation and the role in society, when monitoring is officially instituted in Brazilian education, educational institutions in Brazil, actions, perspectives and priorities of governments for Education. The proposal for a product should be carried out after document analysis, semi-structured interviews focusing on incoming students and those who are participating in monitoring activities, monitors, teachers and the respective persons responsible for the processes. The educational product to be developed should be aligned with the research result. In any case, pointing to the need to reinforce the dissemination of the process, a guide can be developed in digital form and/or printed to be distributed at the beginning of the school period and in the release of public notices, highlighting the importance and impact of monitoring for students and also the proposal for a short course aimed at teachers, showing how monitoring can contribute to the educational process
