RACIAL ETHNIC EDUCATION IN PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY: a proposal for pedagogical work with Afro-Brazilian culture at CEFET MG

This research deals with law 10.639/2003 in relation to vocational technical education, approaching the dialogue between this legislation and the program of General Training disciplines at CEFET MG Campus Divinópolis. We observed that some of these programs have room for the insertion of content related to the Afro-Brazilian culture present in the municipality of Divinópolis, such as the manifestations of congado, favoring the approximation between these cultural manifestations and the pedagogical work with them. For this, we studied the referred law and its application in the technical courses of medium level of the CEFET MG campus Divinópolis, seeking to present the manifestations of congado as a content to be approached in the curricula of these courses. In this way, through bibliographical research, we bring a discussion about the law 10.639/2003 and its importance for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations (ERER), its application in CEFET MG and also an approach on the manifestations of congado and the formation history of the city of Divinópolis-MG. We propose as an educational product a documentary video about the congado `s demonstrations in order to better bring these manifestations closer to the CEFET MG course programs.
