SUMMARY:

The generating situation of this research project refers to the formation of the scientific spirit of youth who attend the integrated modality of Secondary Level Technical Professional Education (EPTNM) in the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education. This type of education is full-time and includes cultural, scientific and technical training. Under the terms of the General National Curricular Guidelines for Vocational and Technological Education of 2021, one of the principles of EPT is the adoption of research as a pedagogical principle, with the purpose of scientific training of students. Having this background question as a reference, this project is for research into Gaston Bachelard pedagogy contained in the work The Formation of the Scientific Spirit. Bachelard's focus in this work is on the notion of epistemological obstacles. However, when dealing with the issue of epistemological obstacles, Bachelard also indicates elements for a pedagogy of overcoming these obstacles and, consequently, a pedagogy of the formation of the scientific spirit. In view of the above, the research problem proposed here is addressed to the aforementioned work: what is the pedagogy designed by Gaston Bachelard for the formation of the scientific spirit? The goal is to appropriate this pedagogy of overcoming epistemological obstacles present in Bachelard work and, based on this appropriation, develop an educational product aimed at teaching at EPTNM. An educational product that presents teachers with the pedagogy of overcoming epistemological obstacles as a reference for planning and executing classes or teaching projects. It is, therefore, a research of a theoretical nature and in bibliographical sources. Regarding the method, the research will be guided in terms of content analysis, which is equivalent to carrying out successive readings that start from initial explorations, go through the elaboration and refinement of categories and re-readings aiming at the selection and collection of significant content for later analysis. Based on the research, the next task consists of preparing the aforementioned educational product, the form of which is yet to be defined.
