ANALYSIS OF A GEOTHERMAL COOLING SYSTEM APPLIED IN TROPICAL CLIMATE
Mathematical model, Air conditioning system, Geothermal condenser, Refrigeration.
Geothermally assisted air conditioning and refrigeration systems are known worldwide as an effective solution for improving the performance of refrigeration/heating cycles. In addition to being reliable, economical, safe and renewable energy. Due to its advantages, it is currently used on a large scale in several countries, but is still rarely used in Brazil. This work aims to verify the energy performance of a large indirect expansion refrigeration system with coupled geothermal condenser, compared to the same system with conventional condensation (evaporative cooling towers), for application in tropical climates. Experimental data will be obtained in a plant that operates with conventional condensation. The proposal is to simulate, through the elaboration of a mathematical model of the evaluated plant, the annual operation of the 2 systems for four cities in Brazil, evaluating the technical and financial viability of the system. refrigeration with geothermal condenser for Brazil.
