TRADUÇÃO DA EXPERIÊNCIA EM VIDEOCLIPE: Estratégias estéticas de cantoras latino-americanas
Videoclipe, aesthetics, intersemiotic translation, audiovisual language
This project aims to study the mechanisms from which the aesthetics of the video clip strengthens the female image in Latin America. For this purpose, the video clips Soy Yo, Bomba Estéreo (Colombia), Na Pele, singer Elza Soares (Brazil) and Deathless of the duo Ibeyi (Franco-Cuban) will be analyzed. The study will take into consideration the common points of the works: using women as protagonists, having singers / members of Latin American origin and transforming private or collective experiences into video language. The video clips will be analyzed not only based on their audiovisual language elements, but also in the light of experiences that have been translated into music, which in turn have been translated into video clips. In this sense, the concept of intersemiotic translation proposed by Jakobson is indispensable. Within this dynamic it is possible to observe a political bias, which in this proposal will have its conditions approached with concepts and the contributions coming from Roland Barthes, Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guatarri, Jacques Derrida, Paul Virilio, David Lapoujade, Paul Ricoeur, Didi-Huberman and Simone de Beauvoir.
