RESUMO:

The presence of women in different social spaces, denied to them in different periods, in Brazil and in the world, is a popular topic in the researches of Social Sciences, Humanities, Psychology, Physical Education, among other areas of knowledge. Some years ago, research shows that the presence of women in the soccer environment is increasing and that changes in the way of cheer have been taking place. The theme of soccer has also been approached by linguistic studies, with research that discusses from the publications on soccer in Brazil to the speeches of fans and organized cheerleaders, for example. This project, more specifically based on the French line of Discourse Analysis, which is understood that the discursive manifestations are in the social mobilizations, we seek to analyze the discursive images of women and about women soccer fans in the relations established between them, with their crowd ones and with fans of rival teams, in the space of the stands. In this sense it is intended to understand the conditions of discourse production, based on the discursive practices of the subjects in different social instances. As a research object, we have chosen the video published and available on the website of the Soccer Museum of São Paulo with the testimonials of organizers of the First Meeting of Women of Bleachers and fans present at this event. Who is the "subject-woman-fan"? For the fans, is the meeting the place of speech that they really want? What places do the supporters believe they are occupying? Do the fans identify “machistas” and harassing attitudes in the stands? To reflect on these and other questions, the objective of this research is to outline the profile of the female fans in order to understand the images they constructed about themselves and around their presence and other women in the bleachers, mapping fans of different fans and regions of Brazil, whether in the organized space or outside. The motivation to investigate the images of the fans at the First Women's Meeting of the Bleachers starts from the identification, in previous research on women and organized cheerleaders, of conflicts between socially (re) affirmed prejudices and the insertion of feminist struggles in this environment. Based on this observation, our hypothesis is that women seek to participate effectively in different social practices and many of their achievements still run into barriers resulting from “machismo”. With this, it is assumed that these women seek to be accepted as representatives of the Brazilian fans from the creation of movements to deal with and organize actions related to the subject. With this, we intend that these analyzes provide us with subsidies for the understanding of the needs of these women, who seek to be accepted in a socially recognized space as "man's place".
