WORLDS AND MUTATIONS: Olga Valeska's poetry as dialogue and interart translation

This research project seeks to analyze the dialogue established between Olga Valeska's contemporary poetry in the work Mundos e Mutações with some of the texts and (or) figures from the artistic and literary world mentioned or honored by the author in Book 1 of that work, as well as suggesting a reading of the meaning of the engravings elaborated in a dialogical relationship with the texts and reproduced in her Book 2. The work in question is contemporary, however, full of scholarship. From the moment he dialogues with authors of texts that are part of the universal canon - as Edgar Allan Poe, Alberto Caeiro, Soren Kierkegaard, Miguel de Cervantes and Saavedra, William Blake, Dostoievski, Jean Paul Sartre and the Polish composer Pjotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – Valeska's contemporary poetics cross the barrier of time, rescuing all the complexity of a tradition, without losing, however, its contemporaneity, which is also reiterated by dialogues with other contemporary texts and figures, such as Jussara Santos, Kaká Werá Jecupé, Transversos Magazine and Adrián Muñoz's dance corps. Next, the author translates the essence of these dialogues into imagery texts of her creation, as if trying to reaffirm the condition of immortality, already attributed by the strength of the word. This analysis will be undertaken based on the concepts of intertextuality, dialogue and interart translation.
