Extraction plots adjustment models for determination of the magnetization using the S700X Cryogenic SQUID magnetometer software

In this research, we made a magnetic characterization of a dysprosium oxide sample Dy2O3, on which the following measurements were performed in a SQUID magnetometer: magnetization as a function of the applied magnetic field, as well as magnetization as a function of temperature. We studied the three curve fitting models for extracting the magnetization data provided by the software that controls the magnetometer and corrected one of the adjustment models, causing this model to consider in its calculation a deviation in the measurements due to the effect of thermal expansion on sample holder set.
