A multimodalidade no ensino da Língua Portuguesa como segunda língua para surdos: análise do uso do livro didático adaptado em Libras
Didactic Book adapted, Libras, LP2, Teaching L2, Deafness
The present work intends to present initial studies of the research that investigates the aspects related to the use of the Didactic Book adapted to the deaf student in his learning of the Portuguese Language (LP) as a second language, based on the concepts of Social Semiotics theory and the principles that guide the concept of Multimodality. Within this perspective, it is proposed to analyze the appropriation, by the teacher and the deaf student, of the resources of signification used in teaching textbooks adapted to sign language and their influence in the stimulus for the understanding and learning of LP as second language (L2) and how these students are guided to develop their learning. The methodology used was qualitative, with ethnographic assumptions, in this case, I was present in the classroom during the entire data collection period. In some moments of the collection I acted as a participant observer, although I did not participate in teaching the activity. The collected data reveal that LS is circulating in educational spaces, non-use of LD with students, lack of knowledge of teachers about the use of technological tools, low use of imagery resources such as didactic support and lack of knowledge of LP teaching strategies as second language in written mode.
