The construction of the body image in Hilda Hilst and Iberê Camargo
Iberê Camargo; Hilda Hilst; Intermidialidade; Intersemiotic Translation.
This thesis studies the making of the body image in Iberê Camargo's paintings produced between the years of 1980 until 1994, year of his death, and the book Fluxo-floema by Hilda Hilst. Addressing the issue of dialogue between arts of different languages, in this case, literature and painting, in the light of Intermidiality and Intersemiotic Translation. This thesis intends to identify indications of a proximity between the Iberê's paintings and the Hilst's book with respect to the representativeness of the body.
