RESUMO:

The present research project aims to investigate the processes of creation in projection
mapping and the use of the technique in historical listed heritages having as corpus the
analysis of the process of edition and reception of the show "History, Light and Sound:
Memories of an Old Mill" executed in the Brazilian National Monument Engenho Ruins São
Jorge dos Erasmos in Santos - São Paulo. It is intended to facilitate discussions on the
concepts of expanded cinema and to identify the production stages of the show and its
peculiarities of implementation, as well as its social and symbolic effects beside the
spectators.
