SUMMARY:

The achievements of deaf people go back to antiquity when they were considered incapable of being educated until today. One of the most important achievements was the approval of Law 10,436/02 and later regulation by Decree 5,626/05. With this, there was greater visibility for deaf people in the educational field and in society. The researcher's teaching and guidance practices for teachers also show the lack of knowledge on the part of those who do not use Libras or use it very little to communicate with deaf students. Based on this, this doctoral research proposes a contribution to teacher training based on post-method pedagogy, in the education of deaf students, in an inclusive education perspective in accordance with the National Plan for Special Education in the Perspective of Inclusive Education - PNEE, of 2008 and the Brazilian Law for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities, Law nº 13.146, 2015, addressing didactic material for teaching Libras. A methodology for teaching Libras is proposed for students who are participants of the Specialized Educational Assistance - AEE. The theoretical basis is the writings of Quadros (2005) on bilingualism in the education of the deaf, Kress (2001, 2006 and 2010) on multimodality and education, Leffa (2007) on the creation of didactic material and Kumaravadivelu (2003) who addresses the post-method pedagogy in teacher training. The research presents the perception of the subjects involved in the formation and elaboration of the didactic material. Data analysis reveals, through evaluation, the perception of each subject regarding the formations and process of creating the material. In general, the perception of the formations and creation of the MD was considered interesting by those involved, demanding time and specific training for its execution, providing actions and exchange of knowledge among the participants and of great value for the education of deaf students.
