SUMMARY:

The theme of the research to be developed is the visual narrative of literary book covers in dialogue with the verbal narrative of the plots. We will seek to identify and analyze the discursive relationships in two Brazilian editions of the Harry Potter series, written by J. K. Rowling and translated by Lia Wyler, namely: the first, released in Brazil between 2000 and 2007, and the commemorative edition published in 2020, year celebrating the 20th anniversary of publication of the series in the country.
