Multimodality and Literary Literacy: new approaches to teaching literature
Literary Literacy; Multimodality; Reader Training; Didactic Sequence; Active Methodologies.
In this research, we propose to analyze the reading practices of literary texts, the textual multimodality and its implications in the formation of critical readers. The study will initially develop a bibliographic research on literary literacy, multimodality and the possibilities of using digital textual genres as a methodological strategy to encourage literary reading, considering the pedagogical proposals of Freire (2015), Cosson (2009), Ribeiro (2021) and Silva (2001). Subsequently, we Will carry out a case study involving students from the Integrated High School of IFNMG/Campus Arinos. As data collection instruments, we Will use observations made in literary workshops and a questionnaire answered by the students involved in the Project, which, we hope, Will be able to contribute to the improvement of teaching practices aimed at literary literacy, not only in the institution involved in the research, but in all schools offering secondary education.
